With its beautiful Old Town and largest medieval market square in Europe, Krakow has numerous medieval buildings and monuments, the Royal Castle, narrow winding streets and church spires. Beyond the Old Town there is plenty to attract, the Kazimerz District - the former Jewish Quarter, Schindlers' Factory which featured in the film Schindler's List.For any student visit to this part of Europe a thought-provoking visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps for a guided tour is a must. It is also possible to visit the popular Wieliczka Salt Mines which date back to the Middle Ages and contributed to the prosperity of the city.

Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips
* KRAKOW and AUSCHWITZ *
Day 1. Morning flight to Krakow - Transfer to hotel - Afternoon guided walking tour of the old city.
Day 2. Guided tour of Galicia Jewish Museum and talk by a survivor - Visit to Schindler's Factory. Folklore evening with Music and traditional dancing and 2-course meal.
Day 3. Guided visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp - and either a guided visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mines or Park Wodny (indoor Aquapark). Eve: Bowling.
Day 4. Depending upon flight times there may be free time in the city before transferring to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
