Basalt Caves at Vik, see the Eldhruan Lava Fields and the stunning Seljalandsfoss Waterfall in person or take a Whale Watching trip and expand your knowledge of these mysterious, complex and remarkable mammals.

Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips

DAY 1
• Flight from The UK to Iceland. Coach will collect group on arrival.

• Entry to the Secret Lagoon - Enjoy the goodness of the oldest natural pool in Iceland with
the rich warm water coming from the hot springs. Vaðmálahver, Básahver, or Litli Geysir (an active geyser which spouts every few minutes, showing off for the guests) provide 100% of the water supply in the lagoon.

The pool water flows continuously, and it takes only 24 hours to complete its replacement. Warm, clean and rich in sulphur it stays at 38-40 Celsius all year round. Relaxing and healthy in any
weather the Secret Lagoon has been kept natural, simple and unique so that you can enjoy this true Icelandic experience.

• Travel south towards Vik for check in at accommodation followed by evening meal.

DAY 2
• Breakfast in hotel and collect a packed lunch.

• Explore the South Shore - Meet your guide and coach for visits to Dyrholaey Peninsula with Reynishverfisvegur and Reynisfjara Beach, Loftsalahellier Cave, Arch at Dyrholaey, Skogafoss Waterfall, Solheimajokull Glacier and Seljalandsfoss Waterfall.

• Entry to the Lava Centre - The Lava Centre is an interactive, high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcanic activity, earthquakes and the creation of Iceland over millions of years. Traverse the corridors, visit the exhibition halls and use the interactive displays to discover the colossal and complex natural forces that shape the Earth.

Examine the various volcano eruptions and lava flows, volcanic rift systems, faults and glacial floods that make Iceland a showcase of volcanism. The centre introduces Katla Geopark plus
Iceland’s elaborate monitoring system for surveying volcanos and earthquake zones.

• Check in to accommodation in Reykjavik followed by evening meal.

DAY 3
• Breakfast in hotel and collect a packed lunch.

• Golden Circle Tour - Meet your guide and coach to visit some of Iceland’s most stunning
sights, starting with the Geysir geothermal area where the Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 metres into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces. Visit the incredible Gullfoss Waterfall which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32m deep.

• Hellisheidi ON Power Plant Geothermal Exhibition -The Geothermal Energy Exhibition at Hellisheiði Power Plant is a state-of-the-art look into the harnessing of geothermal energy
in Iceland. It is a striking example of how geothermal energy is harnessed in a sustainable manner and a showcase for the rest of the world. Experienced guides are on-hand to provide informative presentations about sustainable green energy as a global energy resource.

• Thingvellir National Park -The Golden Circle tour also includes the historical and geological
wonder that is Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to
the idyllic Friðheimar greenhouse cultivation centre, where you can learn about the magic behind growing delicious, pesticide - free tomatoes and cucumbers all year round with the aid of the
geothermal heat that Iceland has in abundance.

• Evening meal in restaurant.

• Perlan Museum -Entry to Wonders of Iceland which includes the Northern Lights Planetarium Show, access to the Observation Deck and Ice Caves.Explore Perlan’s amazing ice cave and the dramatic interactive Glaciers whilst the 360 degree observation deck around the Perlan dome gives a panaoramic view over Reykjavik and its surroundings. Arora, the first ever 8K northern lights planetarium film lets learners observe the northern lights as you’ve never seen them and the Volcano Show gives a fascinating insight into the Geldingadalir volcanic eruption at Fagradalsfjall that lasted several months.

DAY 4
• Breakfast in the hotel.

• Coach transfer to the airport.

• Return flight to UK.
