Visions In Education

Students will learn how astronauts train for space travel by taking a turn on a multi-axis chair, zero gravity wall, rotating chair as well as simulating walking on the Moon or Mars. The simulators provide in-depth astronaut training with each student stepping into the shoes of a space scientist for a 2-hour simulation of a mission on board the US Space Shuttle. And finally, students will have the opportunity to build and launch their very own space rocket. This workshop allows students to learn about the principles that govern the flight of a rocket, the basics of propulsion theory and of the stability of rockets in flight.

Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips

Day one - coach travel from school and ferry crossing from Dover. Check in to Eurospace Center for evening meal.
Day two - Breakfast at Voyager Cafe, Astronaut Training, multi axis chair, zero gravity wall. Moonwalk XP Simulator. Lunch at Voyager Cafe followed by Rocket Building Masterclass. Evening meal at Voyager Cafe followed by evening torchlit tour of Boullion Castle
Day three - Breakfast at Voyager Cafe. Depart EuroSpace for P&J Chocolate Shop and workshop. Ferry crossing at Calais and onward coach travel back to school.

What size groups do we cater for?

Minimum group size is 20, maximum group size is 100. We offer 1 free teacher place for every 10 paying pupils.

Access for visitors with disabilities?

With prior knowledge to booking we can arrange a tour that takes into consideration any students with disabilities.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We can cater for students with special educational needs but will need prior knowledge for ski school requirements.

Anything else?

3, 4 and 5 day itineraies are available for this tour. Euro Space Center becomes booked up many months in advance and we recommend enquiring with us a year before you plan for the tour to take place.
