Design and Technology Trip to Bologna & Venice School Trips

Sweet Chariot

trip icon Start your tour by exploring the ancient city of Bologna on a guided walking tour including visits to Piazza Maggiore, the unfinished Basilica di San Petronio, and the Two Towers (Due Torri). See famous sculptures including Fontana del Nettuno, and explore the cities market streets full of fantastic food and drink stalls.

On your second day you will visit two of the world’s most iconic Car manufactures in Ferrari and Lamborghini. Enjoy activities at the Ferrari campus before a tour of the factory and museum. Transfer to Lamborghini for a tour of the Museum before an evening of pasta making and eating.

After a morning at leisure to further explore Bologna, you will transfer to the Pagani Factory for a tour, before heading to Planet Kart for a Grand Prix Go Karting experience and dinner.

Enjoy a tour of the Ducati Factory in the morning before transferring to Venice. Here you will visit the San Trovaso Gondola Factory and then transfer by private motorboat to your hotel.

On your final day you will have a morning tour of the Glass Factory before being transferred by private motorboat to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

From car production to food production, this tour to the historical capital of the Emilia
Romagna region in Northern Italy is a cultural experience not to be missed. Visit Ferrari and Ducati, and enjoy a pizza making class and balsamic farm tour. A great variety on offer on this fabulous tour.

Famous for sports car production, take your students on a journey through design and technology, taking tours of factories to watch the production of these vehicles on the assembly lines. Use the interactive machines in the laboratory at Ducati and take the Physics in Moto workshop to give your students hands on experience. You will also tour a balsamic or parmesan farm to see the entire production process. You can add in go karting and pizza making, and this tour will not disappoint.

Famous for sports car production, take your students on a journey through design and engineering, taking tours of factories to watch the production of these vehicles on the assembly lines. At Ducati you will take part in a Physics in Moto workshop to see the engineering of these vehicles. Take some time for go karting and sightseeing for a tour that will not disappoint.
