Fly from regional airport to Berlin and transfer using the S-Bahn to your hostel – The Meininger Berlin Hauptbahnhof for check in. The hostel is centrally located by the main railway station. Eight bus lines, subways and city trains and countless regional and long-distance railways meet here. This hotel is thus ideally positioned for exploring the whole city. The panorama roof terrace offers spectacular views of Berlin, the Government District and the Tiergarten Park. The Brandenburg Gate is a 10-minute walk away.
Spend time at leisure exploring Potsdamer Platz area of the city followed by an evening meal back at the hostel.
Early breakfast before a full day of sightseeing in Berlin. The day will begin with a 2 hour guided walking tour with a professional tour guide to share a little of the city’s dramatic history and culture. There will then be some free time to allow for lunch before your afternoon visit at Checkpoint Charlie museum. Checkpoint Charlie was founded shortly after destruction of the Berlin wall and had a vital role in the history of Berlin. Here you can appreciate original artefacts from successful escapes including a hot-air balloon, a mini-submarine, cars and more.
Tonight’s evening meal will be in the world famous Hard Rock Café in Berlin.
Start today with breakfast in the hostel before another full day of sightseeing. The first visit today will be the Topography of Terror which is the most visited place of remembrance in Berlin.
Free time this afternoon to explore Alexanderplatz and shopping time. Return to the hostel for your evening meal and then its off for an evening boat trip on the River Spree.
Breakfast in the hotel before checking out of the accommodation. Travel by S-Bahn back to the berlin Airport for return flight home.
