Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without the hassle of organising a school trip! During our Vikings workshop, we'll cover the following:

- Step inside a Viking Great Hall
Following on from this workshop, your pupils can produce an amazing piece of creative writing based on your experience.

Creative writing
At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting your class back in time to see the Vikings! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about the Vikings but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. PrimeVR can bring your history topic to life by transporting your pupils back in time to see the Vikings! Using virtual reality headsets, your class will learn about raiding, trading and culture, the Great Hall, Viking weapons and shields and even Viking longships.
What size groups do we cater for?
We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.
We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Yes. Weve worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic. We have visited a number of SEN schools across the country, from KS2 in primary to KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools. We have a range of workshops that can be adapted to suit your students needs.
