PrimeVR is the UK's leading Virtual Reality workshop provider and works with schools nationwide to help bring the curriculum to life. Prices start from £1.48 per pupil!

Using the power of VR, our team of qualified teachers & passionate educators can deliver a number of tailored workshops to KS2 throughout the day. For example, we can deliver an Egyptians workshop to Year 3, a Romans workshop to Year 4, a Space workshop to Year 5 and a WW1 workshop to Year 6. There are loads of topics to choose from with Google Expeditions!

Our tailored workshops last between 30-60 minutes and we can deliver a maximum of 9 throughout the day. Following on from our visits, teachers can download our free literacy lesson plan bundles which are a great way of showcasing what pupils have learnt.

If you are new to VR and you're unsure about how it works in the classroom, check out our 5* reviews from teachers on Google, Trustpilot and Facebook.

Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without the hassle of organising a school trip!

During the Mayan Archaeologist workshop, your children will learn all about:

- How the Mayan city of Chichen-Itza flourished around 600 AD
- The savage and barbaric sport of Pok-A-Tok (and where it was played)
- How people were sacrificed at the top of El Castillo (Temple of Kukulkan)
- How the Mayan civilisation were keen and advanced astronomers
- The Temples of the Warriors, El Caracol and Las Monjas

Following on from this workshop, your pupils can write an instruction text about the savage sport of Pok-A-Tok. Our literacy bundles include lesson plans, example texts and LKS2 and UKS2 writing checklists.

Over a full day, we can deliver a maximum of 9 workshops with up to 32 children in each (maximum of 288 children in a day). We bring in 16 VR headsets and we usually run our workshops with children sharing one headset between two. However, if you would prefer, we can split classes into two groups to allow children to have one headset each.

Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?

We deliver our workshops on the school-site. We require one classroom or hall for the day.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Yes. We've worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic.
