Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into an immersive Fairy Tale experience, complete with an exciting display of magical items, historical artefacts and curious objects inspired by stories from across the ages
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating artefacts and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing their Traditional Tales topic vividly to life
Pupils explore the history and traditions behind some of the world's best-known fairy tales, discover what life may really have been like in the worlds of castles, knights and legends, and investigate how mythical monsters, magical creatures and dragons have appeared in stories throughout history
They take part in interactive discussions, activities and opportunities to handle fairy tale items and historical artefacts, helping them develop their understanding of traditional stories, historical settings, storytelling and the ways tales have changed and evolved over time

Fairy tales Myths and Legends World Book Day
Fairy Tales are a brilliant way for children to explore storytelling, imagination, history and traditional culture
Dan Tastic Education brings those familiar stories vividly to life!
Through fascinating artefacts, magical props, storytelling and plenty of pupil interaction, children can explore where traditional tales came from, how they have changed over time and why stories about heroes, villains, monsters and magic have endured for generations.
Our workshop helps pupils look beyond the familiar characters to discover the historical settings and ideas behind the stories, from knights and castles to mythical creatures, dragons and legendary heroes.
By handling fairy tale items and historical artefacts, joining in with stories and exploring the difference between history, myth and legend, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, use their imaginations and think more deeply about the tales they already know.
Dan Tastic Education combines genuine learning with humour, energy and immersive storytelling, helping teachers reinforce classroom work while giving children a magical topic hook they will remember long after the workshop has finished.

It is our mission to provide Workshops & Wow Days to work as a Topic Hook to inspire children to engage with the topic, love learning, reading and to be the very best version of themselves.
