Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into an immersive Pirate experience, complete with an exciting display of historical weapons, nautical items, flags and fascinating artefacts
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating props and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing their Pirate topic vividly to life in a fun EYFS friendly way
Pupils explore the history of pirates, discover what life was really like at sea and investigate how people lived, worked and travelled during the 1700s
They take part in interactive discussions, pirate games, songs and storytelling activities while exploring the parts of a ship, the meaning behind pirate flags and the weapons and equipment used by sailors and pirates

Pirates
Pirates are a brilliant way for children to explore history, adventure and life at sea
Dan Tastic Education brings the world of pirates vividly to life!
Through historical artefacts, replica weapons, flags, nautical objects, storytelling and plenty of pupil interaction, children can discover what life was really like aboard ship and how sailors and pirates lived during the 1700s.
Our workshop helps pupils explore the history of piracy, the parts of a ship, pirate flags, weapons and everyday life at sea, while separating popular myths from the historical reality.
By taking part in pirate games, songs, stories and hands-on activities, pupils are encouraged to ask questions, examine evidence and build a clearer picture of the people and experiences behind the legends.
Dan Tastic Education combines genuine historical learning with humour, energy and immersive entertainment, helping teachers reinforce classroom work while giving children a pirate topic hook they will remember long after the workshop has finished.

Dan Tastic Education came to our primary school last week to kick start our new topic of Pirates and he certainly got us off to a great start. The morning was spent finding out about a range of Pirate information. There was such a great amount of knowledge on the subject and they were fantastic at communicating with the children. The children (and the teachers) laughed all the way through, saw incredible artefacts and got the chilren were completely involved from beginning to end. They were spellbound! In the afternoon we had all 60 children in the hall and they had no problems keeping them the children entertained with games, songs and stories. It was pretty mad at times & the children absolutely loved it. Many described it as 'the best day ever' and we got some fantastic writing about Pirates the following day. This is the second year that we've had Dan Tastic Education, and we would definitely book again next year!
