Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into an immersive Women in History experience, complete with an exciting display of ancient artefacts, historical items and fascinating objects from across the ages
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating artefacts and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing the stories of women throughout history vividly to life
Pupils explore the changing lives, roles and achievements of women across thousands of years of history, discovering how opportunities, expectations and attitudes towards women have developed from the Stone Age through to the modern world
They take part in interactive discussions and activities while exploring women in Ancient Egypt, Greece & Roman Britain, the Tudors, pirates, Victorians, the Wild West and space travel, helping them examine gender equality and uncover remarkable stories that can sometimes be overlooked in traditional history lessons
