Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into an immersive WW2 experience, complete with an exciting display of wartime artefacts, equipment and historical items
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating artefacts and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing their WW2 topic vividly to life
Pupils explore the causes and key events of WW2, discover what life was like for children and families on the Home Front and investigate the experiences of evacuees, the Blitz, air raids and Dunkirk
They take part in interactive discussions, activities and opportunities to handle historical artefacts, helping them examine different types of evidence, develop their historical enquiry skills and gain a deeper understanding of this extraordinary period of history
