We are able to offer Outdoor Learning to any age-group from 7 upwards, with fully qualified instructors, whether on a one-day or multiple day adventure. We offer a mix of indoor lecture events in any one of our 4 Lecture Rooms, which compliment our Outdoor Activities
The activities are preselected by the school, so that the focus of the trip is guaranteed, with no wasted/out time.
Our core activities include :-
Water based events (Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Wild Swimming), Outdoor Adventure ( Fell Walking, Orienteering, Bushcraft, Rock Climbing, Mine Exploration, Mountain Biking), as well as wellness events such as Reiki and Yoga.
In addition, after a busy day, we offer high quality food generated from our own gardens, served in our own refectory area.

Cooking and Nutrition School Trip
Hospitality and Catering Seasonal Food Where food comes from Nutrition and healthy diets Preparing food and cooking techniques
We have on site gardens and farmland, and our chefs prepare a range of organic food and meals every day using our own produce to support the meals. We welcome the opportunity to train incoming students in this specialised culinary field.
Bushcraft School Trip
We are located within Snowdonia, and in 18 acres of Meadow/Wood Land beside (and with access to) a Lake which we utilise whenever possible.
Being in Snowdonia we also have access to the surrounding forests and mountains - with our trained instructors.
Team Building School Trip
"Who's in charge" !!! Is a common issue when dealing with Teams, because the person who is the strongest team member may not be the best leader. Our Team building courses explore the dynamics of working in a team through mostly practical but also theoretical examples.
Seaside School Trip
We offer a range of our Outdoor Events which have been adapted for the Sea Side, including paddleboarding, kayaking, caving, cliff work (inc climbing), as well as wild water swimming and wild water life-saving training given by fully qualified trainers.
Outdoor Learning School Trip
There are many aspects of Outdoor Learning that we can offer, ranging from water-based activities on our lake, to land based activities - Rock Climbing, Orienteering, Mine Exploration. All our packages include necessary safety gear, fully qualified facilitators, optional catering and accommodation.
What size groups do we cater for?
For one day events we can cater for up to 50 participants, and for multiple day events including accommodation and camping we can accommodate up to 40 participants.
On-site classroom facilities?
We have four Lecture/Conference rooms which will cater for 20 - 60 participants dependant upon the room and activity.
Is there first aid on site?
Yes, we have fully qualified First Aid practitioners both for indoor and outdoor events, and mishaps
Access for visitors with disabilities
Yes, we have disabled access for our event rooms, refectory and selected bedrooms.
Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Trigonos is part of the Ruskin Mill Trust who have SEN Educational Establishments throughout the UK.
As such all the staff at Trigonos are very aware of the value and need for Safeguarding and Inclusion, as are our specialist facilitators and Outdoor Trainers
Who are Trigonos?
We are part of the Ruskin Mill Trust (https:/rmt.org) who are an Educational Charity catering for SEN Educational needs throughout the UK. As such we value and understand the need for Inclusion and Safeguarding.
