They’ll learn how to stay safe while uncovering the mystery of the mischievous “Catfish,” all in an easy-to-understand format that's both fun and educational.

Suitable for all primary-aged children, this interactive performance is packed with humor, action, and vital lessons on online safety.

Online Safety

Click to read full text At Shooting Star Entertainments, we use engaging, interactive performances to support the PSHE curriculum, helping children develop essential life skills. Captain Wonderweb enhances students’ understanding of key PSHE objectives by:

• Promoting Online Safety & Digital Wellbeing: Teaching children how to navigate social media safely, recognise cyberbullying, and avoid online deception while promoting responsible digital citizenship.

• Building Resilience & Self-Esteem: Encouraging students to make informed choices, develop confidence in their own judgment, and resist peer pressure in online spaces.

• Encouraging Critical Thinking & Communication Skills: Helping children assess online risks, question digital content, and express their thoughts clearly through interactive discussions.

• Supporting Emotional Wellbeing & Respect for Others: Addressing the impact of social media on mental health, fostering empathy, and encouraging respectful online behavior.

• Emphasising Inclusion & Diversity: Ensuring all students feel represented and valued, while discussing the importance of respect and understanding in digital interactions.

By blending education with entertainment, Captain Wonderweb equips children with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the digital world safely, fostering a positive and responsible approach to online interactions.


What size groups do we cater for?

No maximum size for the performance.
Maximum of 35 children for the follow on workshop.

Access for visitors with disabilities

We come to you and all disabilities are welcome.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We provide Relaxed Introductions, Touch Tours, Social Stories, and Makaton. While we are unable to offer BSL translations for our performances, we are happy to supply a copy of our script in advance. This allows any onsite BSL translator you choose to familiarise themselves with the material ahead of the show.
