What activities are available during educational visits?

Students take part in a structured, instructor-led climbing experience designed to support physical development, teamwork and confidence building.

Climbing

Rock Up supports curriculum Physical Education objectives through structured climbing sessions that develop strength, coordination, balance and problem-solving skills. Our activities provide both individual and team-based challenges, encouraging resilience, communication and trust.

A Rock Up school trip promotes self-confidence and collaboration while engaging students in purposeful physical activity. We offer tailored packages for ages 4-16, including ground-based games for those not ready to climb, ensuring inclusive participation for all abilities.

Sessions are fully supervised and designed to complement Key Stage PE outcomes, helping students build physical literacy in a safe and supportive environment.

PSHE School Trip

Healthy Living Teamwork and resilience

Team Building School Trip

Is there first aid on site?

We have dedicated first aiders on site at all times. All staff are well trained and signed off to perform assists & rescues in the climbing arena, and our first aid kits are regularly maintained.

Access for visitors with disabilities

The downstairs of the building is wheelchair accessible & our staff are trained to help with any SEN customer.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Rock Up is committed to providing an inclusive experience for students with Special Educational Needs.

Our experienced team works in partnership with schools and carers to understand individual needs in advance and tailor sessions accordingly.

We offer a range of reasonable adjustments, including additional support from instructors, flexible participation options and the ability to reduce music and noise levels to create a calmer environment where required. B

y adapting our sessions to suit different abilities and sensory needs, we ensure all students can take part safely, comfortably and with confidence.

We are also a fully accessible site with a lift in-store.
