Comrie Croft School Trip

Residential Trip Residentials Scotland

trip icon Booking means you have complete control over how you want your trip to be.

Our Eco Lodge Steading can sleep up to 48 people via 11 ensuite rooms, if you need more space we also have a Farm house which can sleep 12 in 2 ensuite rooms. Both self catering. We have lots of lovely local caterers who can help with feeding everyone if you’d like.

Croft by name, croft by nature. Onsite are a variety of independent enterprises such as Bushcraft Bairns who offer forest based learning experiences as well as yoga & mindfulness sessions, and Tomnah’a Market Garden who can give tours & workshops based on their wildlife friendly growing methods. These complement our own regenerative and nature tours and mountain bike coaching.

Further afield in our local area you’ll find exciting places such as the watersports centre at Loch Earn, Cultybraggan WW2 army camp, Drummond Castle Gardens (set for Outlander!) plus much more. If you have any specific activity ideas, the Crofters have a wealth of local knowledge and are always happy to help with ideas.

What activities are available during educational visits?

Onsite there are:
Mountain biking
Bushcraft Bairns - outdoor education facilitators
Tomnah'a Market Garden - nature friendly food and flower growers
Wildlife hide
Croft Tours - focusing on sustainability, eco tourism, biodiversity

There are a range of other activities in the local area.

What size groups do we cater for?

We can accommodate groups of up to 60 people.

On-site classroom facilities?

Our cowshed and barn can be set up to be classroom area's.

Is there first aid on site?

During opening hours (9am - 5pm) there are Crofter trained in first aid available. All bike coaches are outdoor first aid trained.

Access for visitors with disabilities

The Croft is located on an old farm situated on a fairly steep hill. Our steading has a wheelchair accessible room with ensuite wet room. Unfortunately the grounds surrounding the buildings are fairly uneven, wheelchair users would be best to have an off road wheelchair.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

While we do not offer specific SEN sessions our staff are always happy to help with any adaptions needed.
