Hangloose activities are the perfect opportunity for students to build on their ability to understand and act upon instructions. They will learn how to set and achieve their own goals, as well as show support for their peers.
Not only can your pupils have an adrenaline packed adventure, we can even help you combine your visit to Hangloose with our friends next door at the Eden Project for the ultimate adventure learning experience.
What activities are available during educational visits?
Looking for a memorable day out that's both exciting and educational? Hangloose Eden offers thrilling activities that challenge students and help build confidence, teamwork, and resilience.
Soar across the world-famous Eden Project biomes on Skywire, England's fastest zipline, or take on the Inverse Skywire for a completely new perspective. Test balance, courage, and problem-solving on the SkyTrek High Ropes Course, finishing with a mini zipline ride, or feel the rush of the Gravity Swing, dropping from a massive 50ft!
We make planning simple. Visits can be tailored to your chosen activities and schedule, and optional pre-visit PowerPoints and post-activity worksheets link the fun to safety, physics, maths, and real-world learning.
At Hangloose Eden, students enjoy a day packed with adventure, challenges, and hands-on learning - a truly unforgettable experience outside the classroom.

At Hangloose Adventure, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education) is naturally integrated into the activities, promoting essential life skills and personal development. Through teamwork-based challenges, students learn the value of cooperation, communication, and leadership.
Activities encourage resilience and perseverance as students face fears and push their comfort zones, fostering self-confidence and emotional well-being. Health and safety briefings also reinforce responsible decision-making and risk awareness. The experience of being outdoors in nature supports mindfulness, stress reduction, and a healthy, active lifestyle, helping students develop both physically and emotionally in a supportive environment.

Groups with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
For groups with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible to create a calm, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We can include carers or support staff on bookings free of charge where required, and we are happy to discuss making an activity exclusive for the group during their session to reduce noise, crowds, and sensory overload. Our team can work with teachers in advance to understand individual needs, adapt the experience where possible, and ensure clear communication throughout the visit. If you would like to discuss specific requirements or explore how we can best support your group, please contact us.
We will do everything we can to help anyone with limited mobility on to the activities.
Some activities are better suited to wheel chair users than other. The SkyWire our biggest attraction is accessible, although we ask that you contact us in advance.
Disability covers a wide spectrum, and we try our best to help everyone. This isn't always possible but most of the time we believe we give people an amazing experience.
Anything else?
We have a large sheltered indoor space in our reception area with picnic tables where children can enjoy their packed lunches. We also have a small shop where souvenirs can be purchased and a 'snack shack' is open during the summer months which serves toasties and smoothies. We have toilets, outdoor seating and plenty of viewing areas for spectating.
Hangloose Adventure provides outdoor learning experiences which allows every child to develop their skills and strengths as well as providing them with an experience of a lifetime in a safe, challenging and encouraging environment.
From flying down the Skywire (England's fastest Zipwire), to practicing your balance and teamwork skills to get across the Skytrek high-ropes course, pumping the adrenaline on Gravity (our giant swing), to free falling onto a giant air bag, we have so many exciting things to offer!
Our packages can be tailored to your group's needs depending on age, group size, budget and the time you have to spend with us.
