Consistently rated 10/10 on feed back - Those History People uses practical making activities, role-play and drama to deliver a memorable and educational day for pupils and teachers alike.The two days we had the workshop were outstanding. Our leader for the day (Phil) was amazing and catered to our school needs. The children were so engaged in every aspect of the day. I have never seen a company bring in so many different resources which were so beneficial to the children's learning and also allowed for every child to ensure they were participating in the workshop. From a teachers point of view, having the information cards, question cards and also just instructions for each activity not only helped us but our parent helpers. It also outlined the curriculum coverage which was amazing. The parent helpers thoroughly enjoyed the day too.
This is a company I will be using in the future and recommend to staff members in my own school and other schools.

Which curriculum topics do we cater for?
Romans
The morning workshop focuses on making and role play. The pupils will be met by the paefectus catorum of the IXth legion, who will guide them around the fort. After a short introduction the children will engage in a series of activities and role play that will immerse them in history. While working, the pupils will also be spreading news and asking questions to learn more about Roman Britain.
The morning sessions may include the following making activities:
Wax Tablets and Stylus making
Ink making and writing
Make scented oils in the bath house
Making a mosaic
Painting a fresco
Make a clay pot
Make a La Tene style brooch
Make a votive offering
Work in the Hospital
Afternoon
Archeology Workshop excavating a Roman fort

Our teachers are all fully qualified specialist primary school teachers and are committed to providing the best service for primary schools and a full day of learning for pupils.
