YHA London Lee Valley is more than just a place to stay before heading to London for the day; there are plenty of great activities to get the pulse racing without the need to travel far, or even beyond next door!
This hostel has 24-hour reception and offers social spaces, meeting rooms and a games room, with free Wi-Fi available in shared spaces. Schools will also be well catered for here with breakfast, packed lunches, and evening meals all available.
Herts Young Mariners Base is an outdoor centre with over 50 years of experience delivering a range of water based and adventurous activities such as canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, raft building and more. Their centre is situated a mere minutes’ walk from the hostel and makes a great option for schools and groups wanting to add adventure to their residential. If that’s not enough you can also access the Lee Valley White Water Rafting centre (as used in the 2012 Olympic Games) who provide a range of activities for children of all ages.
Adjacent to the hostel is access to Lee Valley County Park and over 10,000 acres of woodland, park spaces, canal tow paths and walking routes. Pathways will take you through a variety of landscapes, and at times provides you with views over to central London, reminding you of its close proximity to this rural idyll.
YHA London Lee Valley has 130 beds, so we can cater for both large and small groups.

At YHA London Lee Valley we strive to cater for everybody. We have ground floor bedrooms and two of the lodges have an accessible bedroom with en suite wet room. There are two designated accessible parking spaces.
