Cyber Attack: A Code Breaking Workshop

TA Education

School Workshop Online Workshop

trip icon Students will take on the "real life" task of stopping Cyber terrorists from a group called KRYTON who have taken control of the RAF’s latest space asset, the Earth observation satellite “Carbonite 2”. They will have 90 minutes to complete this task or the terrorists will deorbit the satellite and it will burn up in the Earth’s atmosphere.

Students will work to analyse the evidence and obtain access to the secure server which we believe is hosting the satellite uplink that has been used to hijack Carbonite 2.

They must work as a team and use a range of cryptographic and cyber security skills to solve this within the 90-minute time-frame. The RAF is relying on you!
