At Rockley, we welcome more than 5,000 young people and their group leaders every year. We are passionate about creating inspiring experiences. We want your group to just 'go for it', have fun, and be fully prepared for an adventure that will prepare them for life.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
With over 49 years' experience offering residential trips for schools and groups, we know exactly what makes a successful trip. We will work with you to create a trip that both develops your pupils' social and practical skills and meets your desired targets.
COMMUNICATION
We know how important a residential trip is, which is why we have all the resources ready, on hand, and easily accessible to make organising a trip as easy as possible for you. We will provide you with our full support from your initial contact with us right up until your return to school.

Over the past 49 years, we have worked hard to maintain the exceptionally high standards of safety we apply to all our centres, ensuring we deliver a high-quality residential experience whether you are on the water, on land, or on the slopes.
SUPPORTING DEVELOPMENT
We will create a programme to ensure each group member's personal and social development, all led by a passionate team of individuals who will encourage your youngsters to 'have a go.' This is a chance for your young people to shine outside the classroom; we want to be part of that.

All our activities promote a healthy lifestyle, from the food we serve to the activities we engage them in. As well as the listed activities, in the evenings we run games from Ultimate Frisbee to Volleyball.
Watersports School Trip

We are the UK's leading RYA recognised training centre. This means our instructors are some of the best in the country. Saftey and fun are at the core of our watersports activities: getting kids sailing for the first time to jumping of off a Mega SUP. We are all about building water confidence and wokring on vital skills needed for later in life.
Team Building School Trip
Team building is a significant part of our activity schedule. Most, if not all, of our activities promote some form of team building. From building a raft and then testing its float capacity on the water to organised team games, it is att eh heart of what we do.
Seaside School Trip
Our site is situated in one of the largest natural harbours in the world, and the local wildlife and surrounding area are places of natural beauty.
What size groups do we cater for?
Any size up to 60 pupils.
On-site classroom facilities?
Yes we do. We have 3 fully fitted classrooms that are situated on the beach. What more could you ask for!
Is there first aid on site?
All members of our staff are RYA first aid qualified or similar.
Access for visitors with disabilities
We have some disabled facilities, please talk to our team for more information.
Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Our team is incredibly professional and well trained. We currently take an SEN school 3 days a week during the summer so understand the process involved with making sure the trip is tailored to that individual.
Who are Rockley Watersports?
Established in 1976, Rockley is a family-run business led by husband and wife team Peter and Lis Gordon and assisted by some of the country's most experienced and qualified staff!
What started as a small sailing centre in the heart of Poole Harbour has flourished into a company able to cater to over 5000 scholl children a year whilst remaining that small sailing school at its core.
This means each child is important to us and no group is better than any others.
