What activities are available during this school workshop?
This workshop includes some drama and dancing, with a number of different Musicals to choose from such as The Lion King, Matilda and many more.
Each session will include a short introduction to the style and warm-up, and then your pupils will learn moves from your chosen Musicals.

Our workshops help many pupils with team building and depending on the chosen style will include partner work.

Listening to Music
We explore the rhythm of the music for the chosen style and the dance steps delivered are broken down into manageable chunks, building on the choreography.

Teamwork and resilience Healthy Living
We promote healthy living as our workshops encourage your pupils to be active, and incorporate teamwork through dance.
Performing Arts
This workshop will bring a touch of drama to your pupils day, developing such skills as creativity and self-confidence. Most importantly, drama activities are fun.
Dance
We bring the chosen subject and style to life, through dance. Dance helps boost wellbeing, gets children active and moving in an inclusive setting, none contact and no competition, it will unlock a different side to many children.
What size groups do we cater for?
From experience, up to 30 pupils per session work best. You can have up to 8x 30-minute sessions (during a full day) or increase the duration and reduce the number of sessions.

Yes, all of our styles can be adapted to SEND pupils and settings.

We will take your requirements and work with you to build your ideal Dance Day, and you can include many of our styles or focus on a particular style.

Who are Dance Days?
Dance Days have been providing educational, interactive and fun dance workshops for schools since 2013, and we visit schools in London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire.
We inspire, educate and boost confidence through dance and provide a unique experience without breaking the budget.
Many of our dance workshop styles link directly to the school curriculum and enrich your pupil's learning while helping with PE in a none traditional way. We adapt the delivery of our workshops, so they are suitable from Nursery age right through to Secondary School.
