trip icon This tour of the UK takes in a wide variety of the best cities and scenery the UK has to offer.

Visit the ancient cities of Edinburgh and Oxford, finishing in London and enjoy breath-taking countryside en route in the Lake District. Manchester has become a really vibrant city in the last 20 years, brought in by the success of Manchester United and the BBC's northern base.

You'll enjoy the best of British Culture and many of the UK's most iconic sights. This tour can be shortened to your budget and requirements.

What activities are available during educational visits in 2026?

Day 1

Arrive into Edinburgh airport and transfer to the Edinburgh Youth Hostel where you will spend the next 2 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

This afternoon, enjoy a Guided Tour of Edinburgh including entrance to the famous Edinburgh Castle.

Day 2

After breakfast, you have the morning at leisure to explore this fantastic city. This afternoon, meet your guide for your Vaults and Graveyard Tour.

Day 3

After breakfast, transfer through the stunning Lake District to Manchester. On your journey, stop at The Wordsworth Museum or Dove Cottage (Wordsworth's home - optional) or take in the beautiful Lakes such as Windermere, Ullswater, Coniston Water and so on.

Day 4

Wake up in exciting Manchester. Today is yours to choose from the many excursions Manchester offers, such as:

• The National Football Museum
• Tour of Old Trafford, home to Manchester United
• Imperial War Museum
• The Lowry Gallery
• Museum of Science and Industry


Day 5

After breakfast check out of your rooms and continue your journey south to Oxford.
On arrival, you will meet your Guide for a City Tour of Oxford including entrance to one of the famous University Colleges, where some of the Harry Potter film sequences were shot.

Day 6

After breakfast board your coach and transfer to Stonehenge.
After exploring this prehistoric monument, you will then continue on to Bath for a visit to the famous Roman Baths.
You can then enjoy some time at leisure before returning to your hostel at a time to suit.

Day 7

After breakfast, board your coach for your transfer to London.
On arrival, you will first visit Madame Tussauds to get up close and personal with the Stars! This afternoon make your way to the Natural History Museum before continuing on to your hostel where you will stay for the final 3 nights of your tour.

Day 8

After breakfast, meet your Guide in reception for a City Tour of London.
Firstly, take in the views of the City from the iconic London Eye. You will then make your way to Shakespeare's Globe for a tour of this wonderful theatre. This afternoon board your boat for a sightseeing River Thames Cruise. You will have some time at leisure this afternoon before heading over to London's famous West End to enjoy a night at the Theatre.

Day 9

This morning, transfer to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where you'll explore the UK's tallest sculpture.
You will then get to slide down the Arcelormittal Orbit, the World's tallest, longest and fastest tube slide!
This afternoon you can pass by Harrod's and then make your way to the iconic Oxford Street before enjoying an End of Tour dinner.

Day 10

After breakfast check out of your rooms and board your coach for your final morning in London. This afternoon transfer to London Heathrow to check in for your return flight.
