Mobile Planetariums Workshop

Our award-winning experiences and workshops, over the past 20+ years, have engaged over 1 million people!

Schools can pick their own mobile planetarium to suit both their venue and audience numbers, giving you the largest choice of mobile planetariums in the UK. Our domes have a capacity range between 15-100 students per session, and include SEND, SEMH, and PMLD adapted planetariums. We also do not limit the number of sessions being delivered during the day, allowing up to 1000 students to enter our domes a day.

All astronomy shows are tailored to the year group, curriculum and any special needs. This ensures maximum learning outcomes, such as learning about the north star, observable planets, moon phases, space missions and the structure of the solar system, as well as seasons on our world and more. Often we add further topics during the sessions, depending on needs, such as black holes, space careers, aliens, space history and with over 50 space shows to choose from, you are spoilt for choice!

PLANETARIUM PACKAGE OPTIONS, WITH GUIDE FEES

-- Option A £895 for up to 6hrs of shows, looking after between 180-720 children

-- Option B £795 for up to 3hrs of shows, looking after between 90-180 children

-- Option C £695 for up to 1hr of shows, looking after between 30-60 children

-- Option X £1595 for a STEM day of unlimited planetarium shows, and two space workshops, such as Augmented Reality Learning and Hands on Science (such as slime or microscopes or meteorite handling)

- Our recommended show timings are 25mins for EYFS'Yr4 or 40mins for Yr5+), running typically between 9am to 3:30pm. You can choose the start and finish times for each session to suit your school's needs, ensuring you allow at least 5 mins changeover between shows
