The linked villages of The Milky Way - Sestriere, Sansicario, Sauze D'Oulx, Cesana and Claviere provide big mileage skiing for all abilities with groups also able to opt for skiing closer to home if preferred. The area also benefits from a shorter journey time from the UK.
In the Dolomites the ski areas are more distinct while still offering schools a wide range of skiing for all abilities and good progression.
In Folgarida the ski experience is constantly being improved; the area is very popular and provides excellent ski schools, apres ski and hotels. The chic resort of Madonna di Campiglio is linked by lift pass extension and is home to FIS World Cup racing.
Folgaria-Lavarone is a fabulous resort for beginners and intermediates who will find plenty of challenging terrain and the chance to ski two resorts on the same ski pass in the week.
If its early or late snow that is wanted, then look no further than Passo Tonale. A well linked system of lifts starts from the village at 1860m and goes up to the glacier at 2700m.
A friendly destination and a great choice for a school trip.
