Continuing Professional Development with Grafham Water Centre

We run Outdoor Curriculum Courses which teachers can access including Forest School (Level 2 Assistant to Level 3 Leader), Food Hygiene, and Paediatric First Aid. We can also host teacher training days and offer activities as part of those.

- The Food Hygiene course covers food safety principles, handling, storage, and catering for special diets in outdoor environments. This course is useful for a wide range of outdoor cooking environments from camp kitchens to group expeditions.

- The First Aid course is a two day, practical training focusing on CPR and emergency response, with outdoor activities and necessary outdoor gear.

- The Forest School training combines practical and theoretical activities over 12 days, with assessments through videos, photos, and spoken work, preparing participants to lead outdoor learning activities confidently.
