Get out into the great outdoors with Peak!
PeakAt Peak, we've been welcoming young people on our fun-filled educational trips for over 20 years. Our ethos is education through adventure and we offer a wide range of activities at our centres, including climbing, archery, canoeing, raft building, bushcraft, and much more. These are suitable for all abilities and no prior experience is necessary. Our dedicated team takes the stress out of arranging your school trip, working closely with you to meet all of your objectives. From small to large groups, day trips to residential stays, outdoor activities to our purpose-built classrooms, a school trip at Peak is tailored to your unique needs.

At Peak we pride ourselves on offering school trips with a difference. Through our five activity centres, our dynamic programme of activities is centred on one core principle - delivering education through adventure. From sailing to climbing, bushcraft to fire lighting, teambuilding to survival skills, there are so many activities that will engage learners' minds. We can apply educational subjects, such as maths and geography, to the activities we offer; showing pupils real examples of how lessons are used in everyday life.

With so many activities on offer, why not turn your school trip into a residential stay? Our purpose-built accommodation at our Chasewater (Burntwood) and Underbank (Stocksbridge) sites helps young people to gain a sense of independence and return home with many tales of adventure. All meals are included by our on-site chefs and as a teacher, you will have your own room or tent (site dependent) situated right next to the pupils' accomodation.

Outdoor Learning Just Got More Accessible
Outdoor learning enhances confidence, friendships, and well-being but is often hard to access due to rising costs. At Peak, we've lowered our residential trip prices for Autumn 2025/2026, making outdoor experiences more affordable. We can customise trips from one to four nights, helping students connect outdoors and away from screens. Additionally, our SEND Alternative Provision, supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, is expanding with new mobile units across the North East, Lincolnshire, and West Sussex, bringing tailored outdoor education directly to schools.
Outdoor Education: Empowering Children with SEND
Peak's Development Programme offers children with SEND a barrier-free, outdoor learning experience that builds confidence and engagement.
