Every school is unique, so every trip should be too. We offer fully customisable schedules ranging from 3 day/2 night trips to full 5 day residentials. Teachers can mix high-energy adventure (BattleZone Laser Tag, high ropes) with field studies, river canoeing, or bushcraft skills to match specific learning objectives or year group dynamics.

With that being said, what does a typical day look like on a New Forest Activities school residential?

Days are balanced between high energy activities, outdoor learning, and structured evening wind downs. A typical day might start with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a morning of open canoeing on the Beaulieu River. After a woodland lunch, students tackle archery and team initiative challenges. Evenings feature hosted campfire sessions with toasted marshmallows, stargazing, or night walks, giving students a complete, immersive away from home experience from sunrise to bedtime.

Popular spring and summer slots fill up quickly. We recommend reaching out 6 to 12 months in advance to secure preferred dates, though we always do our best to accommodate shorter lead times.
