Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips
Our study tour is designed to last approximately five days, providing students with an immersive experience to learn the German language whilst exploring significant historical sites.
The journey begins with a morning flight, followed by a transfer to accommodation. In the afternoon, students will visit the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, where they can learn about Berlin's Cold War history and practice their German language skills through interactive exhibitions.
On the second day, the group will enjoy a guided tour of the Berlin Wall Documentation Centre, looking into Germany's divided past, and visit the Reichstag Dome and the Jewish Museum, enriching their understanding of German history and culture. In the evening, students will have the opportunity to dine at the Hard Rock Cafe, practising conversational German in a casual setting.
The third day includes a guided visit to the Stasi Headquarters, providing a deep dive into East Germany's secret police history, followed by a visit to Wannsee Villa, known for its historical significance in World War II. In the evening, students can enjoy dinner at the Berlin TV Tower, experiencing panoramic views of the city.
On the fourth day, the group will explore the DDR Museum with a guided tour, giving your class a glimpse into life in East Germany, and then have some free time for shopping. The day concludes with a return to the accommodation before transferring to the airport for the evening flight back home.
An optional extension includes a guided visit to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, lasting approximately six hours, providing a profound historical experience and further language practice. This itinerary is flexible and can be adapted for shorter or longer stays based on the needs of the group.
