Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips

Day 1

Flight departs London to Beijing (via Shanghai)

Day 2

Flight arrives into Shanghai and transfer flight to Beijing

Day 3

Breakfast

Pick- up at the hotel for Morning tour of Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City. Explore old part of Beijing – the Hutongs by rickshaw, stop at a local home, where you will learn how to make dumplings.

Afternoon visit to the Capital Museum.

After dinner, transfer to Kung-Fu show theatre.

Day 4

Pick up at the hotel lobby & transfer to Great Wall at Mutianyu Section with cable car up and Toboggan down.

Learn Chinese Calligraphy & have Chinese knot lessons at Hutong family.

Day 5

Visit the Panda Zoo

Visit the Summer Palace

After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven

Hong Qiao Market for shopping

Dinner at local restaurant

Transfer to Beijing South Railway Station for overnight train to Nanjing

Day 6

Arrive in Nanjing

Visit Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum

Visit Nanjing Massacre Memorial

Visit Confucius Temple

Day 7

Pick up at the hotel lobby & transfer to railway station

Take high speed train G7225 (0856-1008) to Shanghai

Shanghai Orientation Tour

Visit of Yuyuan Garden, Old City and its bazaar

Visit Jade Buddha Temple

After dinner, transfer to Acrobatic Show.

Day 8

Pick up at the hotel lobby & transfer to Birthplace of the Chinese Communist Party museum

Visit French Concession

Pudong area and Oriental Pearl TV Tower (the 3rd sphere) for panoramic view of Shanghai city
Evening Huangpu River boat ride along the Bund

Return Flight to the UK
