Which Curriculum Subjects do we cater for?

History

Due to its location, Jersey has been at the forefront of conflicts between England and France for centuries. You'll find numerous fortifications, including Elizabeth Castle, built on a tidal islet in St. Aubin's Bay, and various Martello towers along the coastline, built to defend against French invasion. In short, a history tour to Jersey offers a chance to explore ancient monuments, medieval castles, wartime fortifications, and a unique cultural blend, providing a rich and multifaceted historical experience within a relatively small and accessible island.

World War

The Channel Islands were the only part of the British Isles occupied by German forces during WWII. Visiting the Jersey War Tunnels, a network of underground tunnels built by slave labor, provides a powerful and moving insight into this period of hardship and resilience. You can also see remnants of German fortifications across the island.
