These might include seeing the Bayeaux Tapestry, visiting Honfleur Harbour, touring the Château de Falaise and wandering the unique location of Mont St Michel. You might also take the opportunity to take in numerous locations that were significant across the Second World War, or which commemorate significant events and locations, such as the D-Day landing beaches, the Arromanches 360 Cinema, Sainte-Mere-Eglise and St Lo.

Who are Equity – The School Travel People?

At Equity, we believe there is no better way to learn a language than by visiting the country in which it is natively spoken, interacting with locals and learning the cultural customs. Students can immerse themselves in French language and culture in Normandy.

Normandy is a very popular trip for MFL students and with our French language itinerary they will be given the opportunity to learn about cultural traditions and can even taste frog’s legs or snails! French lessons can take place at the chateau and opportunities to practice these language skills are plentiful whether that be at the farmers' markets, a working bakery in the local town, or a goat’s cheese farm.
