Our Space VR workshop is an unforgettable way to bring your science topic to life without the cost and organisation of a school trip.During this immersive workshop, your class will journey through our Solar System, explore the planets up close, discover the vastness of the Milky Way Galaxy and even visit the International Space Station. They'll also learn about the historic Apollo 11 Moon landing and how our Solar System was formed.
Using stunning 360° computer-generated imagery and video, pupils experience space in a way that simply isn't possible in the classroom, helping them understand scale, distance and the incredible size of our universe.
Following the workshop, your pupils will return to the classroom inspired to ask questions, deepen their scientific understanding and produce high-quality follow-up work across the curriculum.

PrimeVR offers over 20 curriculum-linked VR workshops, making it easy for every KS2 year group to take part on the same day.

Physics
Earth and space Planetarium
PrimeVR transforms your Space topic into an unforgettable scientific experience by taking pupils on a virtual journey beyond Earth.
Using virtual reality, your class will explore the planets of our Solar System, discover how the Solar System formed, travel through the Milky Way Galaxy and visit the International Space Station. They'll also learn about the Apollo 11 Moon landing while developing a greater understanding of the scale of space and our place within the universe.
The immersive nature of the workshop helps pupils visualise concepts that are often difficult to understand in the classroom, making learning more engaging, memorable and meaningful.

Creative writing
Immersive experiences create memorable writing opportunities.
By travelling through our Solar System first-hand, pupils gain the ideas, vocabulary and inspiration needed to produce engaging creative writing, newspaper reports, astronaut diaries, non-chronological reports, explanation texts and science-based discussion writing. Rather than imagining space from photographs or videos, they'll experience it through virtual reality before returning to the classroom to write.

- Suitable for up to 32 pupils per workshop
- Workshops typically last 30-45 minutes with each class

- Every class can choose a different workshop topic to match their current curriculum
All equipment, delivery, follow-up PowerPoints and display posters are included.

All VR experiences take place in a carefully controlled environment, with pupils remaining seated throughout. If a pupil is unable or prefers not to wear a VR headset, they can still take part using one of our tablets, which provides access to the same content.
If you have any pupils with specific accessibility requirements, please let us know before your visit. We'll be happy to work with you to ensure everyone can participate fully.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Our workshops have been enjoyed by many pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and we understand that every class and every pupil is different.
Our sessions are delivered at a comfortable pace by experienced presenters, many of whom have worked in SEND settings. Many schools have found the immersive nature of virtual reality to be particularly engaging for their pupils, helping to capture attention and create memorable learning experiences.
We are happy to adapt our delivery where appropriate, including allowing extra time, offering flexible topic choices, reducing headset time where needed and providing tablets as an alternative for pupils who prefer not to wear a VR headset.
If your class has any specific accessibility or support requirements, please let us know before your visit. We'll work with you to tailor the experience wherever possible so that every pupil can take part and enjoy the workshop.
