Home / Residentials South West / Devon

Great Potheridge House, set in 6 acres of land, is the remaining wing of General George Monck’s 17th century mansion house. It is a grade 1 listed building, with oak panelled dining room, original staircase with painted ceiling and huge amounts of history to be discovered. There is a barn complex too across the car park. Encompass Training focuses on providing quality outdoor education experiences with sole occupancy. We have carried out extensive improvements, now boasting excellent facilities for 70 guests plus up to 10 visiting staff.

All programmes are fully catered, offering a varied menu, with all dietary requirements catered for.

Encompass staff on-site throughout programmes, keypad locks on doors if required and nobody else around for miles!

Camping provided for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions or groups wishing for an under canvas experience. We also have Tipis for hire.
