There is no better way to have fun than with water! Students will learn to deal with challenges and learn new skills, whilst getting very wet.
Learning in the field to satisfy the requirements of the National Curriculum with the option to add an outdoor activity to the programme if desired.
Our activities can be tied into the national curriculum and introduce students to the Romans, Bronze Age, etc. whilst having a great time with fire and camp cooking.
Accommodation OnlyYes, we have been working with children with additional needs since our foundation.

Having been to a number of OAA centres over the past 20 years, I have to say that what Kingsway provide for the children is outstanding. Exactly what an OAA residential should be.
What I loved about Kingsway is that they have staff who are experienced and passionate about what they do. Not just 'top show' and trying to be cool with the kids (Not that they weren't... obviously!!!!) But they all took time to explain things to them.
They have all worked at the centre a long time and believe in what they are doing so have a commitment to what is delivered which is something the big commercial providers don't have. A lot of big commercial centres are full of young staff who have no long term commitment to the centre or indeed the company. And believe me, that comes across.
Nothing was rushed at Kingsway, it never felt like a conveyor belt of 6 different schools moving from one activity to the next with no chance to reflect and take stock of what we'd done.
I loved how the children set the table, wash up, clean the tables and sweep after every meal. These are skills lots of them have never done before.
I also love how the activities are done off site within the countryside rather than on an artificial man-made enclosure.
The idea of hiking to a quarry to then climb and abseil sounds fantastic.
I felt so very at home at the Kingsway Centre and can't wait to come back. I hope this will be the start of a very beautiful friendship between the centre and our school.
