Your Dan Tastic Workshop Facilitator will arrive from 07:30 to transform the classroom or school hall into a hands-on History of Toys experience, complete with an exciting display of toys and historical items spanning generations
Using humour, storytelling, fascinating artefacts and plenty of pupil interaction, we educate and entertain your children throughout the day while bringing their History of Toys topic vividly to life
Pupils explore how toys have changed over time, compare the toys they play with today to those enjoyed by their parents, grandparents and ancestors, and investigate what toys can tell us about the people and societies that used them
They take part in interactive discussions, activities and opportunities to handle historical items, helping them develop chronological understanding, historical enquiry skills and an appreciation of change and continuity

It is our mission to provide Workshops & Wow Days to work as a Topic Hook to inspire children to engage with the topic, love learning, reading and to be the very best version of themselves.
We work with teachers to ensure our workshops deliver material that is relevant, interesting and educationally inspiring for children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
