Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without the hassle of organising a school trip!

During this WW2 workshop, your class will visit London during the Blitz, sit in the cockpit of a WW2 fighter plane, explore Churchill's Cabinet War Rooms and step foot on the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day landings!

In addition to the above, your class will have the opportunity to visit an Allied military base, a V2 rocket factory in Germany and step inside a German bunker!

Following on from this workshop, your pupils can produce an amazing piece of creative writing based on your 360° experience.

What activities are available during this school workshop?

We cover the following topics using VR:

Ancient Maya, The Romans, The Vikings, The Egyptians, The Greeks, The Stone Age, World Wars, Polar Regions, North America, South America, China, Wonders of the World, Around the World, Mount Everest, Africa, Animals, Ocean Explorers, The Rainforest, Volcanoes, Biomes, Space, WW1 and Climate Change.

Creative writing

At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting pupils to the time of WW2! Not only will we provide your class with exciting facts about what life was like during the Blitz but we'll also provide them with an experience to ignite their imagination. World War

How and why the War started Technological developments War Propaganda Air Raids Blitz and Battle of Britain Evacuation D Day Landings and VE Day

PrimeVR can bring your history topic to life by transporting your class back in time to WW2! Using virtual reality headsets, we'll take your class to see London during the Blitz, inside the cockpit of a WW2 fighter plane, the Cabinet War Rooms (specifically the map room) and a reconstruction of D-Day during the Normandy landings.

If we have time, we'll also be able to take your class to visit a V2 rocket factory in Germany, an Allied military base and inside a reconstructed WW2 German bunker.

What size groups do we cater for?

We can deliver up to six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 32 pupils in each workshop.

We bring in 16 headsets and pupils will share one between two during workshops.

We recommend workshops lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.
