If you want a highly experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, then this is the workshop for you!Our workshop leader Adam will arrive bright and early to prepare everything and allow you to put your feet up to enjoy the day! He will provide all activities and resources for the workshop, including over 200 artefacts for the children to explore.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?
Curriculum topics available: Invaders and Settlers, Viking Raids and Invasion, Viking Trade.
Our Viking workshop is filled with hands on activities for the children to explore the era, with artefacts ranging from intricate jewellery to swords and larger weaponry. The workshop looks at language and mythology within our break-lunch slot as well as a variety of stories based on the interesting historical events in this era, like Lindisfarne. The afternoon sessions explore games and leisure activities for both the poor and rich community of the time.We run all workshops as experimental archaeologists, and many of our activities focus on using archaeological and enquiry skills. We provide opportunities for comparison between different historical eras to heighten the understanding of the era.

Who are Primary History Workshops?
We are a small, family run company that delivers KS2 workshops across the country!
Collectively we have been teaching primary school children for over 40 years, and love what we do. We pride ourselves on the quality of our workshops as well as the quantity of the artefacts that we provide. Your children will be engaged throughout any of our workshops, with our interactive, and practical activities!
