Our full-day Key Stage workshop immerses children in Victorian culture. As they experience the Victorian classroom, they will learn about the British Empire, social expectations and more. Overall, they will receive a well-rounded picture of life in the Victorian era.We offer a Christmas variant that explores holiday traditions the Victorians introduced.

What activities are available during this school workshop?
In the morning, we will convert your school hall into a Victorian classroom. The atmosphere will reflect the social expectations of the time. The children will undertake authentic Victorian lessons. These may include:
• Spelling
• Dictation
• Handwriting
• Mathematics
• Science
• Geography
• History
• Religious instruction (if appropriate)
During the afternoon session children can explore a traveling museum and conduct a suitcase investigation.

Victorian Workshop
Queen Victoria Childhood and Schools
Experience a Victorian classroom first-hand. Our school room experience offers authentic lessons in spelling, handwriting and more. They will also learn about Queen Victoria, the British Empire, and Victorian society.
What size groups do we cater for?
We can work with three classes (up to 90 children) at one time, provided the school hall is large enough.
