Quick Insight - Looking for something out of this world for your school? Take a look at this space themed workshop from The Spectrum Place Charity! It's a fun experience that brings the night sky right to your classroom. They have an inflatable dome and live sky tours that make tricky space topics including Moon phases, orbits, and the movement of stars, easy to understand and super exciting for kids from key stages 1 to 3. The best part? It's interactive, so students can ask questions and get involved. And sessions can be tailored to support sensory development and social interaction. Choose between virtual or in person sessions, making it easy to fit into your day. This workshop is a fantastic way to learn about space and maybe even inspire the next generation of astronauts!We are able to bring the sky to you, either virtually or in person with our inflatable dome.

What activities are available during this school workshop?
Our Interactive Sky Tour is a great way to learn about the night sky. It is suitable for students aged 7 and above, and it can also be enjoyed by the general public. Our live shows include new discoveries in astronomy, and we explain them in a way that everyone can understand. We encourage questions, so please come prepared with some of your own.

Up to 30 in a standard dome, but can be more with bigger domes.

Who are The Spectrum Place Charity?
Creative Space is a not-for-profit organisation that provides astronomy outreach and public engagement to all ages and abilities. We offer a variety of activities, including informal talks, interactive workshops, and virtual planetarium shows. We also run an Astronomy School, which offers evening and weekend courses for anyone interested in space, from complete beginners to experienced observers.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about space, and we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences that are both fun and informative. Our team of passionate educators is dedicated to inspiring a love of space science in our community.
