trip icon School Groups: We can cater for groups of 18 - 200. So whether its a small group on a rewards day or a whole year group for a transition day we have the facilities to help you have a day of adventures. All our programmes are bespoke so you can be sure of a day to remember!

Special Education Needs: Attention teachers! Our Social Development Programme can help your mainstream and SEN students who may struggle to engage full time in a mainstream education setting to refocus and develop in the great outdoors. Call us today to discuss your requirements!

Residentials: After groups have tired themselves out with our adventurous activities, Chasewater offers spacious accommodation to create a comfortable residential experience. Flexible packages are available starting from just 1 night. We will work with you to design a programme, you can opt to include specific activities or leave the organising down to us!

Food is also included with a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options daily. Our on-site catering team can cater for a wide range of dietary requirements.

For the safety and security of our guests, a team member will be on call 24 hours a day to provide support and assistance if needed.

On-site classroom facilities?

Yes, Chasewater Activity Centre has two classrooms on site.

Is there first aid on site?

Yes - All of our instructors hold full outdoor first aid certification with enhanced DBS checks in place. As well as AALA and AAIAC we also hold the Learning Outside the Classroom Award. This ensures that you can be confident in the quality of any session you have with us here at Chasewater Activity Centre.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Please ask for availability on how we can accommodate students with disabilities in our activities.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Our Social Development Programme can help your mainstream and SEN students who may struggle to engage full time in a mainstream education setting to refocus and develop in the great outdoors. We believe that all students, regardless of their abilities or challenges, deserve the opportunity to participate fully. Thats why we meticulously plan and adapt our activities to ensure that every student is included and can thrive in our programs. Our instructors undergo specialized training and boast extensive experience in working with students with special educational needs. Moreover, we are committed to providing development programs specifically tailored for SEND students, focusing on alternative provision education to foster emotional, social, and personal growth.

Focus on learning through adventure with qualifications.

Our Social Development Programme is tailored to suit the needs of the student or group. Our bespoke courses combine outdoor activities, and education. Courses can vary from a couple of weeks to a full academic year. When students join us they often exhibit challenging behaviour or are facing a number of difficulties in their lives. The activities are structured to give progression, offering challenges and inspiration. The programme acts as a tool for breaking down barriers, establishing boundaries and opening up communication. Over time, steps are made to increase students confidence and boost self esteem. Peak have a proven track record in helping young people achieve. Previous participants on social development programmes have found the ability to move forward with their lives, having improved their self-esteem and social skills.

Chasewater Activity Centre benefits from a wealth of both water and land activities including a mountain biking, challenge orienteering, canoeing, team building and raft building. We believe every child should be encouraged to experience outdoor activities and enjoy the benefits. Being outdoors and being active helps a child’s development in many ways and has been proven to help students refocus within the classroom.
Our activities are specifically designed to support primary, secondary and GCSE students on their academic and personal development journey and to meet learning outcomes. Students who join us here at Peak can also work towards a host of additional qualification such as the British Canoeing Paddle Awards and GB Archery Awards
