Our Social Development Programme can help your mainstream and SEN students who may struggle to engage full time in a mainstream education setting to refocus and develop in the great outdoors.
Here at Peak, we want to help enrich your curriculum by getting your students out of the classroom, into the great outdoors and re-engaged in the classroom.
As such, we have launched our Schools Support Partnership which includes a wealth of benefits that we would like to share with you including:
• Team development/induction days for year groups & curriculum enrichment experiences.
• Free teacher taster sessions.
• Personal & social skills development through the Social Development Programme.
• Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition services & advice.
• Exclusive discounts & raffle prizes for your school.
Chasewater Activity Centre benefits from a wealth of both water and land activities including a mountain biking, challenge orienteering, canoeing, team building and raft building. We believe every child should be encouraged to experience outdoor activities and enjoy the benefits. Being outdoors and being active helps a child’s development in many ways and has been proven to help students refocus within the classroom.
Our activities are specifically designed to support primary, secondary and GCSE students on their academic and personal development journey and to meet learning outcomes. Students who join us here at Peak can also work towards a host of additional qualification such as the British Canoeing Paddle Awards and GB Archery Awards
