Geofieldwork Ltd is a specialist provider of bespoke, high quality Geography and Geology field studies for GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IBDP.
It is owned and run by Barry Cullimore, a qualified teacher and mountain leader, with over 30 years experience of teaching field studies in the UK.
We are based in Dorset, close to the Jurassic Coast which gives us access to a wide range of classic fieldwork sites both for physical and human geography.
With years of experience behind us we can tailor a course to meet the exact requirements of your group, school and specification.
Unlike many of our larger competitors we are able to run courses for very small class sizes and can often join two small classes together to make the field course even more affordable.
We can also provide a full field trip planning service helping you to find the best group accommodation and transport options for your course.

Dorset is a classic location for Geography and Geology field studies. Just look in any textbook and you will see case studies of Lulworth Cove, Old Harry Rocks and Studland Beach. But there is a lot more than just the amazing coastline to study on your field course here.
The rural and urban settlements of Dorset are excellent case studies for regeneration, urbanisation and counter-urbanisation. There are some accessible and safe rivers for fluvial landscape studies and we have a number of sites set up with permanent experimental plots to undertake some very innovative fieldwork on the carbon and water cycles.
Rock exposures in Swanage Bay, Kimmeridge and Lulworth are commonly used for the field practicals for GCSE and A Level Geology.
The Dorset coast enjoys one of the driest and sunniest climates in the UK and fieldwork is possible here all year round.
