Martha Graham School
Learn at the longest continuously operating dance school in America, the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Mainly focussing on teaching the famous Martha Graham Technique and Repertory.
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
Fusing African-American cultural expression and American modern dance, groups can benefit from private classes, regular open classes, class observations or guided tours.
Steps On Broadway
This world-renowned studio offers dance classes for all levels across a large range of styles. There are excellent facilities including 10 fully-mirrored and sprung-floor studios, all with plenty of natural light.
Lee Strasberg Method Workshop
These workshops introduce Lee Strasberg's systematic acting technique known more commonly as the 'Method'. Learning Lee Strasberg's relaxation technique and move through a sequence of sensory exercises.
Harlem Jazz or Gospel Workshop & Tour
Take a jazz workshop and learn jazz theory with a basic understanding of chord changes and harmonies or learn to sing gospel, focussing on breathing, harmony, control, and voice placement.
Lincoln Centre

What size groups do we cater for?
We have a minimum number of 10 paying passengers, but no upper limit. We can split large groups across multiple coaches and hotels as required, and larger groups will also benefit from additional free supervisory places.
Access for visitors with disabilities?
With prior knowledge to booking we can arrange a tour that takes into consideration any students with disabilities.

Who are Equity - The School Travel People?
Dance, drama or music ' New York is the hub for all things performing arts. Our bespoke itineraries allow school groups to partake in classes as well as see some of the incredible sites that New York has to offer.
Dance ' We present a range of world-class dance workshops held at many famous studios including the Martha Graham of Contemporary Dance, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre or Steps on Broadway. These workshops can be adapted for every group's needs and styles of dance, whether that be contemporary, street, hip-hop, jazz, commercial, breakdance, and more!
Drama - Broadway is the centre of performance and entertainment, we provide the opportunity for students to experience some of the best live theatre in the world. Held in the theatrical rehearsal studios near Times Square, our workshops offer the most comprehensive educational theatre curriculum on Broadway.
Music ' A popular choice for many music groups, we have access to some amazing venues in the Big Apple such as the Cathedral of St John the Devine, Central Park, Battery Park, and the Rockefeller Plaza.
