Just across the channel, Normandy is a great location for History, MFL, and Food Tech studies. Inextricably linked to the history of England, from the Normans who invaded and became rulers for centuries, right up to the 20th Century and the huge impact of the Battle of the Somme, and the D-Day Landings. With excellent exhibitions and museums, students will gain valuable lessons about military conflicts from experiencing the Normandy landscape first-hand.
Normandy also boasts a unique cultural identity, where traditional, artisan makers and businesses are preserved and praised. Practice your French language skills in one of the many street markets of Normandy's historical towns, or learn some culinary skills in a food tech workshop at a local boulangerie or farm.
