Spain was one of our original destinations and continues to be popular for educational tours whether it is for Business Studies, Food Technology, Language, History, or a cross curricular tour that is just fun.
Over the years we have listened to group leaders and we feel we can offer balanced, bespoke tours for your group.

Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips
Typically, our language tour is for 5 days but it can be longer or shorter to suit your preference. As our itineraries are bespoke, we can include different visits and/or lessons at a local language school. Below is a popular itinerary, with some suggestions for additional experiences:
Day 1 - Arrive in Madrid in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Local orientation walk to get familiar with the city, including a visit to nearby Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant serving traditional Spanish cuisine.
Day 2 - A walking tour of the historic city around Plaza Mayor, including a visit to the Mercado San Miguel to experience local food vendors. In the afternoon, a guided tour of the world famous Bernabeu football stadium, home to Real Madrid, followed by an optional visit to the Santiago Bernabeu Museum. Evening at a local restaurant where students can practice their Spanish ordering food and drinks.
Day 3 - Visit to a local market such as El Rastro or Mercado de la Cebada to practice bargaining and observe everyday Spanish life. Students can buy ingredients for a cooking class or lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of the world-renowned Prado Museum, exploring masterpieces by Velazquez, Goya, and Titian. In the evening, participate in a flamenco dance class, followed by enjoying tapas and a live flamenco show - an authentic cultural experience.
Day 4 - Tour of the Palacio Real (Royal Palace) in the morning, including the royal apartments and armory. In the afternoon, visit to Las Ventas Bullring to learn about Spain's bullfighting tradition, including a short film and exhibition. Optional visit to the nearby Mercado de Chamberi for a less touristy food experience. Diary time before dinner at a traditional Spanish restaurant, where students can practice conversational skills.
Day 5 - Depending on flight times, students can take a relaxing stroll through El Retiro Park, rent a rowboat on the pond, or visit the Crystal Palace. Additional options include shopping at Gran Via or exploring the trendy Malasana neighborhood. Before your transfer to the airport, a final opportunity to practice speaking with locals, buy souvenirs, or enjoy a cafe con leche at a local cafe.
Throughout your Spanish language school trip to Madrid, we can arrange for additional language lessons, cultural workshops, or visits to other iconic sites such as the Reina Sofia Museum or the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. We can also include activities like a graffiti tour in Madrid's street art districts or a day trip to nearby historic towns like Toledo or Segovia for further cultural immersion.
Please let us know your preferences, and we will tailor the itinerary to ensure an enriching and memorable experience for all students!
