For those studying 20th Century themes, Mussolini's rise to power can also be studied in the many architectural legacies left behind by the Fascist Dictator. His ambitious new projects included demolishing many ancient and medieval parts of the city, as well as memorials to the First World War and his blending of classical architecture with fascist propaganda.

There is a huge amount of excellent attractions in Rome to discover, here are a few of our most popular excursion:
Colosseum & Forum
The largest amphitheatre in the ancient world and an iconic piece of Roman architecture, students cannot fail to be impressed by the sheer scale of the Colosseum. A short distance away lies the Forum, the beating heart of the Roman Empire for hundreds of years.
Pantheon
One of the best-preserved Roman buildings, this unique temple, built during Hadrian's reign, is an architectural masterpiece. The circular plan and half-spherical interior space showcase the extent of Roman expertise in engineering and design.

The Circus Maximus was the largest stadium in ancient Rome and was used for chariot races, foot races, public events and gladiator fights.
San Callisto Catacombs
These 2nd century catacombs hold the graves of thousands of early Christians, including 16 Popes. They allow a fascinating insight into early Christianity in Rome and the many symbols and secrets used to convey faith.
Time Elevator
This fun, interactive learning experience takes your students back to see over 3,000 years of Rome's history. The show starts with the legend of the founding of the city and continues through Rome's Empire up to the present day.

We have a minimum number of 10 paying passengers but no upper limit. We can split large groups across multiple coaches and hotels as required, with larger groups benefitting from additional free supervisory places.
