Wagrain is in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt area and home to one of our clients favourite slopes and two of the most popular mountain restaurants ' Uncle Tom's Hut (amazing BBQ burgers) & the Doughnut Hut (egg & bacon doughnut anyone?).

The long beautiful slopes run down towards the village, which at 800m gives you a run of over 5km from top to bottom, offering a fantastic teaching area for groups. It is also compulsory that groups visit Uncle Tom's Hut for lunch ' conveniently half way down! The welcome you will receive is easily one of the best in the valley.

Beginners will find the sun bathed terrace at the top of the Grafenburg an ideal starting point before heading over to join the progressing skiers on the fabulous long red runs down to the town. Our groups call these runs the 'Autobahn' and as the name suggests these are wide open motorway style slopes that are great at building confidence. These long runs mean more time on skis, less time on lifts will put a smile on everyone's face!

Wagrain provides brilliant aprÃ¨s-ski for school groups including billiards, bowling, swimming at Aqua Salza Fun Pool, pizza night, visit to Salzburg, ice-cream night & mini golf.

Who are IBT Travel?

IBT Travel were founded as Mountain Travel in 1986 and originally operated day and weekend trips to the Cairngorms in Scotland. Within a few years we operated the largest volume of groups of any operator in the UK to the Scottish ski slopes. In the early 1990's it became clear that our loyal client base was demanding new horizons and the experience of skiing in Europe so we re-focused our attention on developing specialised school ski trips to Europe.

Now 40 years later, IBT Travel has evolved into one of the UK's leading tour operators specialising in top level ski tours for discerning party leaders along with an equally strong educational division.
