Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

PSHE topics: Healthy eating, Healthy Living.

Get your school cooking and learning about nutrition and healthy lifestyles. Our primary teachers cover a variety of PSHE and Healthy Lifestyles topics during our curriculum sessions and Health and Nutrition workshops. All sessions get your pupils cooking and making a delicious dish to taste at the end of the session.

We bring all of the equipment, materials and ingredients to make the sessions hassle-free. Enquire today to see how we can help your school to get cooking and learning about nutrition.

Food topics: Food Safety, Seasonal Food, Preparing food and cooking techniques, Where food comes from, Nutrition and healthy diets.

Check out our cooking and nutrition curriculum sessions to get your whole school cooking. Led by fully qualified primary teachers, we bring all of the equipment, ingredients and resources to get your school cooking. We also have topic themed cooking days and seasonal specials to enhance your current curriculum.

Our sessions cover the requirements of the Primary National Curriculum and contain links to a variety of subjects: PSHE, Maths, English, Science etc.

Every term, we also have seasonal specials for Christmas, Easter and Summer.

Human Geography topics: Settlement and land use, Economic activity and trade, Travel and Tourism.

Transport your class to a country of their choosing as they learn about the foods and cultures that represent it. Within a session, we'll teach pupils about the food, ingredients and some of the recipes that are special to a country. We discuss climates and how those affect the ingredients on offer. After a short introduction, we dive into the cooking element of the session, producing both a main and a delicious side that will enrich your pupils' understanding of the country or continent of study.

What size groups do you cater for?

A half day cooking session accommodates for a whole class of approximately 30 pupils.

Who are Classroom Kitchen?

Classroom Kitchen are a team of fully qualified and experienced primary teachers! We bring everything required to make a session hassle-free - the equipment, the ingredients and resources required. Our sessions also carefully take into account class allergies and dietary requirements.

We currently offer weekly cooking and nutrition workshops, topic themed cookery days, parent workshops and seasonal specials in the North West and West Yorkshire Area.

If you're outside of this area but would like to access our curriculum and support, we also have a DIY service to get your school cooking and learning about nutrition.
