What activities are available during educational visits in 2026?

At Cuffley Activity Learning Centre we offer a range of activities that stretch bodies and minds to build confidence. Residential trips range from two to five days and with itineraries matched to the age, experience and abilities of your students, there’s enough to keep them busy! Climbing walls and high ropes give the adrenaline buzz, with more reflective activities taking place deep inside our unique woodland Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). We also offer a variety of day trip options, so can offer something for everyone.

At Active Learning Centres our mission is to provide personal and professional development through the creative use of adventurous and environmental activities. As part of the Active Learning Group, we are determined to support students as best we can. Through the use of the Skills Builder Framework, we promote the development of character and key skills that young people can take forward in their lives. We work sympathetically to enhance wellbeing in all our visitors, and take care of the environments our centres reside in to ensure they act as a needed retreat. We believe that people are there to be grown, nurtured and developed, and this extends to our own staff, where we concentrate on developing the same skills to make ourselves happier and more effective in our roles and lives.
