VR Time Travel: Journey through the World Wars Workshop

This VR Workshop can be tailored to the specific requirements of the Key Stages within your school. This may be a pure VR experience or a workshop that uses VR as a learning tool, amongst other activities. The sessions are led by experienced educators who will guide staff and students through the activity allowing pupils to learn and teachers to observe.

What activities are available during this school workshop?
The students will be able to experience the word they are learning with the immersive feel of virtual reality. The students will have content sent to their VR headsets ready for them to discuss what they can see.
Which curriculum topics do we cater for?
English Workshop
Story writing Creative writing Storytelling Journalism
The experiences gained from our World War workshop can help significantly with creative writing, story telling and story writing. The imagery generates conversation between the pupils and helps them record their thoughts in more specific descriptive detail.
World War Workshop
Trench Warfare Technological developments Evacuation World War II
The students will use Virtual Reality to experience sights and sounds associated with the World Wars at the start of the twentieth century. Led by our TA Education expert, the students will be shown videos and images that showcase the scenes that highlight what life was like during war time.
What size groups do we cater for?
Up to 35 students can take part in each session. A member of staff is required to be present during the workshop.
