Ackers Adventure Birmingham School Trip

trip icon Lots of schools see the benefit of going away for a ski trip but why not get more benefit by learning before you go?

If a ski trip abroad is not for you then some sessions on the slope perhaps looking at friction or measuring the speed of descent, or just as a great activity that you can easily show the progression of the pupils.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Spending time outdoors can have numerous benefits for students with special educational needs. Our expertise in creating outdoor spaces that are accessible and engaging can help SEN schools provide their students with unique opportunities to learn and grow. Here are some ways we can help:

Creating outdoor learning spaces that are safe and inclusive.
Incorporating team-building activities that promote confidence and socialisation.
Providing equipment and resources that are suitable for students with a range of abilities.
Ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-maintained and sustainable.
Collaborating with school staff to tailor activities to the needs and interests of their students.
Supporting schools in developing outdoor programs that align with their curriculum and learning goals.
By working together, we can help SEN schools unlock the potential of their outdoor activity program and provide their students with valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

Anything else?

All instructing staff hold DBS certificates and are fully First Aid trained.

Who are Ackers Adventure?

As a Snowsport England associate member Ski centre, we have instructors and coaches who can take you from a complete beginner all the way to an accomplished skier, or it could just be a taster session you need.

If your school is going on a Ski trip then talk to us, you could organise lessons or even if you are short on time let us talk to the parents and book some sessions for them to bring the children.

Also we can offer tubing down the ski slope - exhilarating fun.
